Yesterday was the official release of last album by Manic Street Preachers titled: "Journal of Plague Lovers", this work was inspired in the last poems composed by "Richey James Edwards", the iconic guitarrist from Manic Street Preachers, missed in February - 1995 and declared officially dead last year.

in the original photo, he looks exactly like my illustration, I can't do nothing about his make-up, this was his style very inspired in the glam rock of 70 & 80, :judge:, anyway thanks a lot for your comment, I'm glad you like it

:) Thanks for your comment, it's hard to explain here how I do my works but basically I have this methods:

this time I use a reference photo from generation terrorists album, here link: [link]

In other works I use collage to prepare a composition of many images to finally produce my own and original creation, for example, in my work about anita ekberg [link] I took the face of anita from a classic portrait of her, but the clothes and pose of her body were taken from another model. here link to the pictures used to create the previous collage before the vectorization process: [link] [link]
